The Tachyon Prototype is an item that can be used by speedsters.
The prototype can be equipped to a suit on a Display Stand, charging up the suit with Tachyon energy, depleting the prototype of Tachyon Charge. If the suit has more than 100 Tachyon Charge, the suit will provide 4 extra Speed Bars. Anything below that will be scaled.
The prototype can be recharged by crafting the prototype with Tachyonic Particle Shells.
