The Tachyon Device is an item that can be used by speedsters.
The device can be used by having the Tachyon Device in your inventory (off-hand*), depleting the device of Tachyon Charge. While the device has charge, it will provide 4 extra Speed Bars.
It can be recharged by crafting shapelessly with Tachyonic Particle Shells.
*The tachyon device only has to be in you inventory to equip, but you can't be holding it. When it is in your inventory, when you toggle your speed, you should get the extra four bars.

The device can be made from 4 iron ingots, 4 gold ingots, and 1 Tachyon Battery.
Trivia[]
- When combined with Zoom's suit and Velocity 9, you will reach 631 kph, which is actually only 1/2 of the speed of sound. This can be increased by using speed potions (confirmed). The max speed is 910kph with everything combined.
